We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician with strong experience to become an integral part of our dynamic team. You’ll be working alongside our highly creative and specialist team of Designers, Project managers, Fabricators, Programmers, Copywriters, Video Producers and Project Coordinators, building highly immersive learning, communication, and event experiences, predominantly for a host of leading Pharmaceutical Companies. You’ll be working in a highly collaborative close-knit environment, where using shared knowledge, and a joint approach of resources aligned to client needs is paramount to successful outcomes.

Job Type:

Full-time, permanent, in-house at our Eastbourne offices.

Whilst this job is mainly a Monday - Friday position, the nature of our business is that we may be attending conferences in far flung parts of Europe and beyond at weekends, and outside of normal operational hours.

Responsibilities:

This is a dynamic and busy role based in our Eastbourne premises, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our events and exhibition services. You will be responsible for the meticulous preparation, testing, and handling of equipment, contributing to final project delivery/installation and operation on-site or online.

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurately pick and prepare equipment according to kit lists, ensuring all items are fully functional, clean, and ready for deployment.

· Conduct thorough testing and cleaning of AV equipment before and after events.

· Efficiently load and unload of equipment, ensuring safe handling and transport.

· Perform detailed checks of returned equipment, accurately noting any shortages or damages.

· Provide on-site support for the setup, load-in, and load-out of equipment at various venues as required.

· Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Knowledge or experience with Audio Visual equipment is highly desirable.

· Possession of a valid UK manual driving license.

· Excellent IT skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to work occasional weekends and longer hours due to the nature of the events and exhibition industry.

· Experience in forklift operation is an added advantage.

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Salary:

Circa £30,000.00 per year - dependant on experience
