We're on the lookout for a talented PHP Laravel Developer to become the newest member of our software development consultancy in Eastbourne. The ideal person will have a strong understanding of PHP/Laravel, CSS, HTML5 and GIT, and be comfortable working with various frameworks, including React and Vue.

As a PHP Laravel Developer at AxisOps, you will craft top-notch, scalable, secure software services and platforms, using an event-driven microservices architecture.

Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux would be beneficial, though isn’t mandatory. Additionally, familiarity with other languages like TypeScript, Python, and Rust would be advantageous.

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven experience with PHP Laravel

  • Proven experience with event-driven microservices architecture

  • Proven experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture

  • Proficient in MySQL or other relational databases

  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitLab

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as React and Vue

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux

  • Familiarity with additional languages such as TypeScript, Python, and Rust
