Brand Engagement & Social Media Officer

The Role

We're looking for a creative, organised, and proactive individual to lead our brand's presence across social media channels. This role is responsible for engaging content creation, influencer and event coordination, and communicating our brand message to both internal and external audiences.

 

  • Responsibilities

  • Create and manage an engaging social media calendar that covers campaigns, events, lead generation, and editorial content, aligning with the company's strategy.

  • Oversee all social media channels, producing engaging graphics and written content tailored to each platform.

  • Act as the brand voice online, responding to comments, messages, and customer reviews.

  • Stay current with social platform trends and algorithm updates to maximise performance.

  • Plan and execute social campaigns from concept to completion, reporting on results and KPIs.

  • Draft and distribute graphic and textual content for use on digital elements, social platforms, company newsletters, and press releases.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign concepts and align objectives.

  • Organise and support brand events, influencer partnerships, and digital collaborations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, media, charity partners, and collaborators.

  • Coordinate timely delivery of products and materials to influencers and partners.

  • Conduct regular research to identify lead generation and growth opportunities.

  • Monitor and report on media coverage and campaign performance.

  • Manage a defined content and campaign budget effectively.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

  • Produce the quarterly company newsletter and support other communications content as needed.

  • Contribute fresh ideas and insights to campaign planning and brand strategy sessions.

     

    Qualifications & Key Skills

  • Degree-level qualification with 3–5 years’ experience in social media or digital marketing.

  • Strong working knowledge of platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva, with the ability to deliver dynamic, on-brand visual and written content.

  • Ability to produce and edit short-form video for social platforms (e.g. Reels, TikToks).

  • Confident understanding of core marketing principles and campaign strategy.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organised with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask.

  • A flexible approach to attending both brand & networking events

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to trends and insights.

     

    Additional Skills (Desirable but Non-Essential)

  • Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)

  • Previous experience marketing for a B2B & B2C, or service-based company
