Embedded Software Engineer
Contract - £450 - £520/day
Location: Hastings (3 days per week onsite). Duration: 6 month contract
Role details:
A Senior Embedded Software Engineer on a contract basis, to join a team in Hastings. This role involves working onsite for three days a week and offers the opportunity to contribute to critical projects within the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and verifying software to applicable standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-178)
Analysing customer requirements
Requirements analysis, design, implementation, and verification of software components
Developing architectural concepts
Participating in design reviews
Job Requirements:
Experience in significant parts of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through to verification and validation
Proficiency in embedded software development using procedural languages like C, C++, or Ada
Understanding of operating systems, preferably including Linux
Ability to obtain a level of UK Security clearance appropriate for the role
Flexibility to work from home and in the office (hybrid model typically 3 days onsite)
