  • Taking your place as a core member of a growing exciting Site Reliability Engineering support team, you will be utilizing the latest technology tools and practice, you may be writing code and test cases, working with API specs and automation to maintain the resiliency, performance and availability of a group of business-critical applications.

  • This is a lead engineer position where you will also play the role of a mentor, leader and coach to other engineers in the team.

  • Work across the latest UI full stack, building highly scalable UI/UX solutions that enable SRE operations with positive user experiences and measurable recovery time.

  • Create UI automation dashboards using splunk, Grafana and kibana feeds

  • Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies.

  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design

  • Must have Domain knowledge of Cards Payments systems.

  • Have SRE experience or knowledge of SRE functions

  • Engineering development experience in cloud-based environment. 

  • Flexible to work shifts (only day shift, start may be little late than usual time). And ready to provide weekend support as per roster.

  • Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods

  • Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate

  • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases

  • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Able to understand and use complex data structures and associated components

  • Extensive development knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, React and other UI designs.

  • Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents applications

  • Takes part in reviews of own work and reviews of colleagues' work

  • Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided

  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure technologies and components

  • Conceptual/support knowledge of microservices in cloud environment and deployment process

  • Knowledge of Jira, confluence, rally

  • Experience with Monitoring tools especially with ELK / EFK and Splunk.

  • Experience in Source control using tools such as Git with DevOps and IT automation concepts.

  • Some knowledge in Redhat Open Shift 3.9/3.11 or Kubernetes 1.9/1.11 and above.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
