Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated, creative social media and marketing coordinator to help market our illustrator\’s work and increase visibility of the Meiklejohn brand. The ideal candidate will work closely with the wider team and our represented illustrators to implement our social media strategies and create compelling content to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. The role’s primary responsibility is the creation and delivery of engaging content across our social media profiles, which currently include Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest and Behance, keeping our website up to date and formatting our regular e-newsletters.
Responsibilities
· Execute our social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram.
· Create engaging content tailored to each platform that aligns with brand messaging and objectives.
· Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
· Monitor analytics and prepare reports for the team to review.
· Collaborate with the wider team to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
· Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely manner.
· Keep agency website up to date.
· Format and schedule weekly newsletters.
· Assist with updating other marketing material.
Experience
· Experience in social media management.
· Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
· Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting methods.
· Proven planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise work demands to meet deadlines.
· Good knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
· Ability to work collaboratively while also being self-motivated.
· Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
We envisage the role being hybrid working, ideally suited to one day a week office based and the remaining hours worked WFH.
